Missouri Gambling Laws
The Missouri gambling laws state that crime is committed if someone gambles. You will be guilty of a "class C misdemeanor unless: (1) It is committed by a professional player, in which case it is a class D felony". A professional is anybody that makes 20% or more of their earning from gambling. If you are a casual gambler, than the law will seem reasonably fair, but not so much if you are a professional gambler. Note: There is no law that says casual poker games between friends are allowed.
